Privacy policy

This is a translation of our German “Datenschutzerklärung”. The German version is legally binding.

2. Summary

• This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising services.
• Fonts, images and all other files are loaded directly from our own web space. No external services such as Google Fonts or embedded maps are used.
• We only process personal data if you contact us via the enquiry or review form, by email, phone or WhatsApp, and in the technically necessary server logs.

3. Storage in your browser

For some features, the website stores small entries in your browser. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us:

• Light or dark mode: If you use the switch at the top, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (entry “az-theme”) so that it is kept for your next visit. The entry remains until you delete it in your browser.
• Page transition and selected service: The page uses session storage to remember whether the welcome animation has already been shown and which service you last clicked, so that it is preselected in the form. These entries are deleted when you close the tab.

This storage is strictly necessary to provide the features you have expressly requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). Consent is not required for it.

4. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by the following provider: united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

When you visit the website, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. The hosting provider deletes the logs automatically after a short period.

5. Enquiry form

If you write to us using the enquiry form, we process the data you enter: requested service, town or postcode of the job, approximate size and frequency (optional), preferred date (optional), photos (optional), name, company (optional), email address, phone number (optional) and your message (optional).

Photos: If you upload photos, they are reduced in size in your browser and sent to us as an email attachment. They are not stored on the web space. Please only upload photos of rooms in which no people and no personal documents are visible. We delete the photos together with your enquiry as soon as they are no longer needed.

After you submit the form, the details are sent as an email to our mailbox info@azaroglanz.de via our hosting provider’s mail server. They are not additionally stored in a database. To protect against automated spam, the form contains an invisible check field and a time check; no further personal data is collected in the process.

We use the data exclusively to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote for you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial and tax law) apply.

6. Review form

You can send us a review using the review form. We process: star rating, display name, town (optional), email address, the service reviewed, your text and your consent including the time it was given. The details are sent by email to info@azaroglanz.de in the same way as the enquiry form.

We only use the email address to check whether you were actually our customer and to contact you with any questions; it is not published. After checking, we publish the star rating, display name, town, service, text and month on this website. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@azaroglanz.de; we will then remove the review promptly. Reviews that are not published are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed.

7. Reviews on Google

Our website contains a link to our business profile on Google. No data is transferred to Google when you visit our website, and no Google content is embedded. Only when you click the link are you taken to Google; from then on, the privacy policy of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

8. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (for example name, contact details and the content of your request) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal bases and deletion are as described in section 5.

9. Contact via WhatsApp

Our website contains links to WhatsApp. No data is transferred to WhatsApp simply by visiting our website. Only when you click a WhatsApp link are you redirected to WhatsApp; from then on, the privacy terms of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland apply.

If you write to us via WhatsApp, we process your phone number, your profile name and the content of your messages in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). WhatsApp belongs to the Meta group; a transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can find more information in the WhatsApp privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can always reach us by form, email or phone.

10. Encryption

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar. This means that the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

11. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), and to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

12. No automated decisions

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing of your data, and we do not create profiles.
